Gift Arrival

My big birthday gift finally arrived! Mom, Dad, Gran, Pop, and Uncle Brian all went in together to get me my very own playhouse. What a neat toy! It has four sides with a bank/market, schoolhouse, sports center, and gas station to play at. I'm sure right now I'll just enjoy exploring but soon I'll be pretending and playing for hours with this cool toy. When they walked me out to look at it for the first time I let out a little "Ahh." In baby talk that translates to "For Me?"

Summer has arrived!

It is officially summer because I have made my very first trip to the beach! We made the long drive all the way out to Sullivan's Island but it was so worth it. There was water, sand, people, and the Coast Guard helicopter. We had a great time playing in the small tidal pools and I even got close to a crab. We stayed until I plumb gave out and then we rode back all sandy and tired. It was a super terrific day!

Hiding Out

One day I got real sneaky and tried to hide in the cabinet under the bathroom sink. Foiled again! I was caught on camera.

Another birthday?

Way back, a few weeks ago, I celebrated my birthday. Twice! I got to go to a little place called Lyman for a family and friends birthday. Man were there a lot of people there. I didn't know how lucky I was to have so many people love me. I got lots of cool gifts and got to eat another cake! It was a real good time. I'd like to thank those who traveled so far to see me celebrate. I hope you had as good a time as I did.

Mother's Day

This year I could sit back and enjoy Mother's Day a little more. There was no worries about constant feedings, looming night wakings or hormones raging. We had a relaxing day of church, eating, resting, and playing. It was a great day that ended with the all important trip to the Mexican restaurant for dinner.

A walk in the park

Sunday afternoon I convinced Mommy and Daddy to get off the couch and go to the park with me. We strolled around, ate a popcicle, went down the slide, and finished by swinging. I was so tired I layed my head on Daddy's shoulder and rested until I got strapped in that darn car seat. It was a good day.

Birthday Fun

I had a little party on Saturday with all my girlfriends. We had a blast blowing bubbles, eating cake, and opening gifts. Mommy and Daddy let me have a small cake all to myself and I enjoyed every last bite!
