The Flowertown Festival was this past weekend. The lowcountry has so many things to do but this has to be one of the great weekends to live here. Jay and I took the girls Friday afternoon. It was beautiful weather but a little hot. Katie Jo really enjoyed all the rides, but loved the flying bugs the best. I got to go back on Saturday by myself and look around at all the booths. There must have been 200 different ones to look at. You do start to see the same people every year so it begins to lose its luster but I still enjoyed it the same. And the best part is the kettle korn!
