Our neighbor, Emily, has a little boy that is just a year younger than KJ. They play almost every day and are great buddies. His birthday was a week before hers so it gave us a good chance to help her understand she wasn't the only one with a birthday! We went and picked out his gift and talked about how he would be two and all the details of his party. She was so excited and I was glad to see she understood. His party was a couple of Friday's ago at our neighborhood park. KJ and Georgia had a great time and it was a nice to see KJ with her good buddy, Jack, and all her friends from the neighborhood.
