This is a picture of Katie Jo and Daddy doing their ABC's together. She had to sing him the song several times before he could get the right order but we have faith he'll get it if he keeps practicing. I think if he wore the crown it would help!
This is Katie Jo and Georgia with their Daddy on movie night. I had a girl's night out so they used that opportunity to put in a good flick and pop some corn. Georgia wanted buttered popcorn but I think they stuck with plain.

Yes, dreams really do come true. This will probably be the only time we'll get Jay near a Cockaboose. We were in Columbia for our high school state football game (which they won by the way). We were parked out behind the Cockabooses and while walking back to the car Katie Jo had to inspect them. I begged Jay to let me take the picture and I think the only reason he agreed was because he was wearing his Byrnes t shirt. He is also wearing a Summerville hat which shows what a true trooper he is (he taught at Summerville for a couple of years way back when).
And finally here is Katie Jo with her Daddy doing what she loves best: cooking! On this particular night it was a yellow cake with chocolate frosting. Every time she saw the pan with the cake she didn't ask for a piece but would have to tell me all about how she made it with Daddy! So sweet!
