Family Visit

About a week ago Jay and Katie Jo traveled together to the upstate while I hung around with Georgia and recovered from the flu. Jay's sister Jessica and her family had traveled down from Maryland for a weekend visit. Jay's dad and his wife Sarah had also come up from Florida. This was a great chance for Katie Jo to visit with all her grandparents, aunt, uncle, and cousins. She had a great time. On Friday they went to a park and Katie Jo and Aidan, who is her age, had a great time together. John Paul, who is only a year younger, kept right up with the big kids. They had lunch together and played till they wore themselves out. Afterwards, Jay took Katie Jo by to see my parents and she got to spend a few hours with Gran and Pop. Then they headed back over to have dinner before heading home. In one day KJ managed to spend time with all three sets of grandparents, an aunt, an uncle, and cousins all without a nap and according to Jay she did great! They left that night after dinner and got home very late. It was a whirlwind trip to say the least.
